Kombucha King was first company to brew kombucha commercially in New Zealand. We began production in 2009 in Hawke’s Bay and in 2015 we became organically certified under AsureQuality, so as well as having 100% organic ingredients, we are recognised as upholding sustainable practices including our cleaning, packaging, recycling & social policies.

Kombucha King beverages are:

  • low in sugar
  • have no artificial flavours or sweeteners
  • have no colourings & no preservatives
  • paleo & vegan
  • gluten free & dairy free
  • naturally carbonated via the fermentation process
  • not pasteurised or heat treated (therefore require refrigeration)

Batch brewed by hand, we use loose leaf teas & healing herbs in our beverages, so you can potentially get benefits of the kombucha culture (please do your own research in this regard), and you also get the benefits of the teas, herbs & juices all carefully chosen for their specific properties.

For example: Kombucha King Berry is brewed with:

  • blackcurrant concentrate & green sencha tea (antioxidant)
  • cranberry juice (boosts urinary track performance)
  • ginkgo biloba (aids brain function)
  • elderflower (has antiseptic & anti-inflammatory properties)
  • ginseng (assists with relieving fatigue, stress & nausea)
  • & olive leaf (supports the immune system)

Kombucha King is the only kombucha producer to offer both:

  • PET plastic bottles (375ml)
  • glass swing top bottles (500ml)
